What happens if my thyroid biopsy is inconclusive?

If a biopsy result is indeterminate or non-diagnostic, it does not automatically mean cancer is present. Depending on the findings, your physician may recommend a repeat Fine Needle Aspiration biopsy, molecular testing, or continued monitoring to gather additional information before making treatment decisions.
